Engineering Immersive Water Attractions for Families
Katmandu Park’s water play structure was conceived as a fully themed splash park, designed to immerse families and children in an undersea fantasy adventure. Beginning with site analysis and collaborative creative sessions, the installation team worked to integrate more than 150 interactive water elements, including twisting slides, tipping buckets, and playful steampunk sea creatures. Each component was meticulously planned for safety, capacity, and accessibility, ensuring a balanced mix of excitement and reliability for all age groups.
The slide structures were prefabricated using durable, UV-resistant materials and finished with vibrant colors to withstand constant water exposure and daily use. The manufacturing and assembly process relied on advanced engineering software for trajectory and support calculations, guaranteeing smooth, secure rides. Installation was efficiently executed to minimize downtime, followed by exhaustive quality and safety testing before the attraction opened to guests.
As a result, Katmandu Park’s new water attractions have become a central highlight, captivating visitors with imaginative theming, dynamic water play, and world-class slide experiences—transforming the park into a leading family destination for thrill and fun.
